This week is a busy week ahead! We will be continuing to work on descriptive writing during our Writer's Workshop as well as starting our new Science unit on Changes in Matter. I am excited to start reading groups again as I have been meeting with students individually for the past few weeks during Reader's Workshop and I think we are all ready to get back into our groups and discuss! Grade 6 students will be learning how to multiply decimals as we continue through Unit 3 in Math. We will also be starting our Christmas around the world theme soon with the holidays approaching! Students and parents are reminded that report cards will go home this Thursday November, 24 and that there is no school for students on Friday November, 25 as it is a Professional Development day for teachers.
